English term or phrase: eckers
-Look after yerself. Don't do too many drugs.
-Nor you. Yer only fifteen years old, sis.
-Sixteen in a couple of months. An I'd like a Smarties tube full of eckers for me birthday.

agree  PB Trans: Your second link does seem to suggest that it is drugs but your first link shows eckers in the context of the slang expression "it's nothing like".

-> Yes, on a second look you are right about the first link - I initially read it as an "eckers like world" - a world where everyone was all luvvy duvvy on ecstasy.
