Explanation:
It seems that DMC is a standard abbreviation used to apply to certain types of machine tool (rather in the vein of CNC...), though for the moment I have not been able to come up with what it is actually short for.

I am more than ever convinced that this must be the name of a model of DMC machine made by Atlas (who do indeed make machine tools of this general type), and as the DMC seems to be associated with the C/FBU, I think you would be safe to treat it as part of the name.

DMC might of course be as simple as Digital Machine Control!

Atlas Machine Tools appears to be an Indian manufacturer of a wide range of machine tools (including digitally controlled ones), though I have been unable to ascertain if this is one of their model numbers
