A customer installed vent line is required between the top of the turbocharger water jacket to the expansion tank for the jacket water system.
Is that means the customer need to install the vent line himself. It is not yet installed when come from the factory.
What is the vent line means anyway. I haven't yet got it. Can I translated it to sth like" ventilation duct"?

A hose that allows gas under pressure to escape
Explanation:
Venting is more than ventilation. It allows gas under pressure to escape. It is usually a hose or pipe.

And indeed, the customer has to install it - the factory does not.

PS.
As I said in reply to your other posting, usually venting prevents excess pressure damaging the container it\'s kept in.
