Asker: Dear Gary! Thank you for your time. It is my fault: I had to add more context. HMDVR allows to watch recorded movies from any room, so I have chosen something like "recording system", although it definitely has also a function of router.

disagree  Polangmar: I don't think it's "router" - probably "recorder" (by the way, the question wasn't (mainly) about DVR but (mainly) about HM).
