English to Arabic translations [PRO] Art/Literary - Linguistics
English term or phrase:You should be able to beat him.
Would you care to explain why you have posted this very same question eventhough u had already by 25th of April? What about the efforts of colleagues given to you to answer this same question, which u posted twice? Pls check the above link by Esperantiste!
Explanation: We use should to say (1)what is the best thing to do or the right thing to do(advising) ex: you look tired. You should go to bed, or (2) we expect something to happen, ex: She's been studying very hard for the exam so she should pass (=I expect her to pass)
(you have been exercising very hard you should be able to beat him)اتوقع ان تکون قادراًعلى ھزمه
Note:Should is not as strong as must
ex: if u say
You should apologise (=it would be a good thing to do)
You must apologise (=you have no alternative)
So I think we cannot translate it "یجب"
it is better be "ینبغی"
