هوى، غرام، هيام، ولع، شَغَف، شهوة Explanation: Pronounced: HAWA, GHARAM, HIYAM (or HUYAM), WALA’, SHAGHAF, SHAHWA (the letters GH stand for a sound that is similar to a French R). These are near synonyms that would fit in different contexts. HAWA simply means unbridled desire, as opposed to rational love.
