Explanation:
Christina,

It is not clear what you mean by "in Arabic calligraphy." If you mean that you want the Arabic word for "soldier" written out in Arabic script, we have already provided you with that in response your previous question. As I recall, you selected the answer that did not provide the Arabic lettering. You chose the answer that only provided you with the pronunciation of the word JUNDIYY.

Is it possible that you did not recognize the Arabic lettering because your system failed to display Arabic text, possibly because it was not correctly configured to display Arabic text? Do you wish to configure your system so as to display Arabic text in your browser? Are you running Windows 95, 98, Me, or NT4? If so, you will need to do the following:

1. Verify that your browser is Internet Explorer and that you are running the latest version.

2. Verify that your Internet Explorer installation includes Arabic Language Support.

You can accomplish both by visiting the Windows Update web site (in your browser, go to Tools, Windows Update, then click on "Update Software").

After installing the needed updates and language support, you will be able to display Arabic. To do so, go to View, Encoding, More, then select Arabic (Windows).

If by "calligraphy" you mean to have a professional calligrapher write the word for you in a decorative style, I am afraid it will not be possible to deliver to you through ProZ.com, because the "calligraphy" will have to be either snail-mailed or e-mailed as an attachment. For that we will need an e-mail address.

If you mean something different, please let us know so we can help.

I hope this has helped clarify a few things. If you need further clarification, please let us know.

Note: The words in bold at the top of this answer box are the words for "soldier." They run from right to left. The first word is JUNDIYY ("male soldier"). The last word is JUNDIYYA ("female soldier"). The word in the middle is the Arabic word for "or." It is pronounced OW.
