ahlan/marhaba

Explanation:
There are lots of ways to say hello, but ahlan is one common way. Ahlan is the abbreviated form of "Ahlan wa Sahlan," used for hello or welcome.

Marhaba is another common form.

Incidentally, if someone said marhaba to you, you would answer marhabtayn ("two marhabas") and if someone said ahlan you would say ahlan bik (ahlan to you).
