ضم الصفائح المتطابقة Explanation: The intented meaning of uniting here is to hold the different layers together to produce one pane of glass. For this I used the word ضم. Another choice is حزم (hazm with zay sakinah), literally tying separate objects into a bundle; this gives the meaning of virtually tying the different layers together. Another accurate but unfamiliar word is تنضيد from the verb نضد, here is its meaning from al-moheet: نَضَدَ يَنْضِدُ نَضْدًا :- الشيءَ في: ضمَّ بعضَه إلى بعض متّسقًا؛ نضد حبّاتِ العقد. ـ ـه بالنَّبْل: رشقَه به I found that Arabic references for auto glass use two terms for layers, ألواح and صفائح. The latter is better because it includes flexible layers whereas ألواح refers only to hard panes. In your context, the lamination of the glass is achieved by inserting layers of film between layers of glass to produce shatter resistant windshields, so I would opt for صفائح.
