English to Bengali translations [Non-PRO]
English term or phrase: I don't understand.
Informal.

Actually I'm surprising some friends by collecting phonetic translations of four simple phrases into as many languages as possible. The other three are:

2. Do you speak English, please?
3. Another beer, please.
4. Where is the bathroom (or toilet)?

This is not a commercial project.

So far I've collected two dozen translations. Bengali is spoken by so many people--I'd love to include it.

Any assistance would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Explanation:

“Bujhte parlam na.”

I have located a site, which has the translation of “I don’t understand” and a number of other general phrases (e.g. “Do you speak English?”, etc.) in many languages (as many as 235!!!).

In Bengali, one way of saying “I don’t understand” is “Bujhte parlam na”.

I strongly encourage you to visit

and see, if you can locate more phrases there.
