English term or phrase: Inputing of Chines copy into a file

I have a client who wants a Chinese translator to come to his office to input some simplified Chinese text into his computer. Is that possible without a Chinese Word processing program? What do you suggest?

Window XP already supports Asian language display, you just need to download the MS Chinese language input device (free) and you are good to go.
