English to Chinese translations [PRO] Social Sciences - History / People's names
English term or phrase:Suat Chwan Yin, Ah Mac Wong
The first Asian student to graduate from U of T was Suat Chwan Yin, from Amoy, China, who received a U of T medical degree in 1903 and went on to make his mark as a doctor and advocate for female education in China and Singapore. He was quickly followed by others, including Ah Mac Wong from Shanghai, who was one of five women to graduate with a U of T medical degree in 1906.
Any one know the Chinese for these two names? They were obviously famous Chinese graduates in the early years of the University of Toronto.
