English to Chinese translations [Non-PRO] Bus/Financial - Retail / retail
Explanation: Equity means the interest of corporate shareholders (owners), i.e. the part of the assets of the corporation over its liability. In accounting, it is called "net worth". The standard translation is 股東權益. The term "return" may be translated into 報酬率 or 回報率.
Explanation: The term "equity' does have many, but inter-related, meanings But, here, I believe, the meaning of "a share of common stock" is likely the most appropriate.
The word "瞯 or rate" may be used. And often it is used. I choose – to convey the same meaning. As heading for a table, I would also use "rate" instead of the long and cumbersome term I tanslated as above. I believe, this long one, however, is the most lucid and self-explanatory.
