agree  Nedzad Selmanovic: Ne oštećuje lak. Koji je onda donji sloj laka, ako senanosi gornji. Kad se vozilo farba, nanose se temeljna boja, boja i lak, ili tzv. lak farba umjesto boje i laka

  -> mislim da je clear coat (barem u ovoj paleti proizvoda kojom se "gombam") sloj koji nanose preko lak boje radi dodatnog dojma "dubine boje", kako se gospoda izražavaju. Inače, samo ime me navodi da se načelno složim - bezbojni lak...
