Pre-planned operations where Rapid Entry criteria are identified and Rapid Entry is authorised by a Divisional Commander. These operations can only be carried out by members of the Uniform Task Force. These criteria can be found on the Rapid Entry Authorisation Form (Form 874 – Force Forms).
Rapid Intervention Techniques involving situations with Firearms do not apply to this document and are dealt with separately by the Firearms Support Department.
An entry where there is information/intelligence to suggest any type of additional security or re-enforcement.
Any door with a makeup of 50% glass or any door where there is 30% glass above waist height.
