Czech translation:praxe
Explanation:
"praxe" generally refers to a job/training situation which someone takes mainly for the experience. Another possibility is "brigada" which refers to temporary work opportunities, usually for younger people, but brigada is usually for unskilled work (picking fruit, hops, etc.)

disagree  Militiaman (X): "praxe" is incorrect translation, it relates too generally to any kind of job experience

"stáž"

Explanation:
"stáž" means (like internship) more specific job related work, often without pay, or with only travel and board and lodging reimbursement, or with pocket money. The term "praxe" is, again, to general, and more often than "stáž" related to paid work.
