English to Danish translations [Non-PRO] Art/Literary
English term or phrase:I want you to be only mine forever and ever
Jeg vil at du skal være min og kun min i al evighed
Explanation: The literal translation(jeg vil have at...) , though perfectly Danish, would most likely be considered to be childish and possesive, more than affectionate. I have therefore left out "have", which is a bit oldfashioned, but okay for a sentence like this, making it a bit moreserious.
However you might be better off phrasing it entirely different as: "Jeg ville ønske du kunne være min og kun min i al evighed" eq. to I wish you could be mine and just mine for ever and ever. Yet that is a personal matter of taste. The above, I want, is more bold and straightforward.
