English term or phrase: potency attributes
This heads a column in a table. The items in the column are

Cold, Damp, Heavy
Hot, Damp, Heavy
Hot, Moist, Heavy
ëtc., etc., eetc. ......

I would say that these are just qualities, but I can't help wondering if I'm missing out on something, since the author, who is American (not an immigrant), chose to use this impressive term.

The subject is Ayurvedic herbs.

Any ideas?
