For anyone still following this saga, I just received a hand written letter which makes me miss this Danish lady even more. Can only communicate via e-mail due to her work in a remote area/country and my study in the UK.

It's pretty straightforward so there is not much more to explain. The word soulmate can not be found in our english danish dictionary, however we have a danish words that means exactly the same - sjæleven.
