Bedankt, ik heb deze versie uiteindelijk gekozen..ben wel nog niet 100% zeker omdat de term veel voorkomt en steeds in andere conteksten, waar ook de andere verklaringen mogelijk lijken!

agree  Willeke Barens: in de naam van een fonds blijft het staan, en in NL kun je in deze context ook "capping" gebruiken. Het kan ook "vaststellen op maximaal" betekenen
