Ik ben op het moment bezig met een vertaling waarin de woorden "faucet" en "valve" door elkaar worden gebruikt. Ik weet dat een "faucet" een kraan is, en - in principe een "valve" een klep, maar in de volgende zin wordt deze "zekerheid" weer helemaal op de tocht gezet wanneer ze opmerken dat de "valve" een "feature in de bathroom" kan zijn. Zie de volgende zin:
