English to Dutch translations [PRO] Law/Patents - Law (general) / extradition request
English term or phrase:Certification
Hello. I don´t know the Dutch translation of the following phrase from a model for an extradition request in American/Canadian English:
´Certification of Record of the Case´, as in the following sentence:
´Certification of Record of the Case for the imposition (or enforcement) of a sentence´.
In this document most of the articles (a, the) are left out.
Can someone please explain what ´certification´ refers to, and how to translate it into Dutch. I translate Record of the Case as ´Zaakdossier´.
You could be right, although this line is preceded by the following line: RECORD OF THE CASE (for person sought for the imposition of a sentence), so I´m assuming that´record´ and ´of the case´ do go together in my quote.
