English to Dutch translations [PRO] Law/Patents / apostille
English term or phrase:duly and sworn
"I, [clerk's name], County Clerk and Clerk of the Supreme Court, New York County, the same being a Court of Record, having by law a seal, do hereby certify, that [person's name] before or by whom the annexed record was signed, was at the date thereof [rank] in and for the County of New York, *duly and sworn*, and that full faith and credit are due to all his official acts."
(Whew.) Okay, the question here is whether 'duly and sworn' can be rendered in Dutch as 'behoorlijk en beëdigd' or, perhaps even better, as 'op behoorlijke wijze beëdigd'. Looking forward to your input. TIA
