"boot cast" Explanation: We do know what you mean. "boot cast" is the method, "cast boot" is the item. The problem is that there does not seem to be a Dutch word/expression for either. Use the English expression within quotation marks. My opinion is supported by an answer received from the "gipskamer" of a Dutch teaching hospital: "Ok sorry for the late reply but it's quite a hard one to translate because there is no real word for cast in dutch, its just called 'gips', but 'gips' is translated to plaster in english. Anyway on to the boot, boot you could translate to 'schoen' that makes it together 'gips schoen'. A walking cast is translated to 'loopgips', 'loop' means walk so translated its walkcast. Hope that helped, im not the best translator and im full of spelling foults but i hope this awnsered your question, if not feel free to mail back." |
