In Finnish the verb `(to) love' is `rakastaa', e.g. I love you - minä rakastan sinua

The noun is `rakkaus'.

(also kulta, rakas: e.g. Hello, love - Hei, kulta (Especially in British English the word `love' is often used to address virtually anyone. However, in Finnish it is a very affectionate word and only used when addressing one`s wife, husband, children etc.)
