English to French translations [PRO] Art/Literary - Art, Arts & Crafts, Painting / pottery?
English term or phrase:lime-kilns
From the same text I asked you some minutes ago:
The lime-kilns at xxx never cease to interest ...
As far as I could invetigate these are "fours de poterie" made out of lime stone; but I wonder if there is a more specific word or name for them. For instance, I would like to emphazise they are made out of lime stone...
Lime-kilns are used for making lime in, NOT pottery kilns that happen to be made out of limestone. Can you confirm which it is? I don't think we'd normally describe a kiln built from limestone as a 'lime-kiln' anyway.
