..."et voilà!"

Explanation:
I thought "lo and behold would be rendered by something more biblical but after having checked with all my dictionnaries, they all point to "et voilà"

If you want something a bit more theatrical, I 'd suggest:

" Je pris un bain de vingt minutes et tenez vous bien, me voici, me sentant revitalisé(e)"
or :me voici en mieux
or: me voici presque refait(e) à neuf

You wouldnt really say" me sentant de nouveau humain" it has a connotation of having been inhuman before the bath (in the moral sense not in the funny "beast" sense).

but there are plenty of other suggestions. Another could be:

"Je me suis baigné(e) pendant unde vingtaine de minutes et voilà, la Bête est ressortie du bain avec une apparence presqu´humaine"

But another but, really a French woman would say that were as the sentence in English could well be attributed to both genders (I feel I'd say it in English without feeling weired, but Oooof, certainly not when posing as French, I dontø know what the other French ladies of the site will think and I'm kind of awaiting comments from ces messieurs as well, right isn't it vous ne vous attendreriez pas à ce que la femme de vos rêves se rèvèle à vous avec sa peau de bête? Hein? Une peau d'âne peut-être mais pas une peau de bête, ou alors j'ai loupé quelque chose)
