I am under the impression that this is black humour:

If you are thinking of flowers, I suppose the rest of the context leads you to it. This makes me think of the flowers "Myosotis" (in english: forget-me-nots). Is there a character in your text called Susan? Is she depressed or depressing, and very dramatic?

I think the person speaking has to go and see Susan, who is a very depressed person, and does not quite like the prospect.

Now the problem will be for you to translate this into French: I suggest Les Fleurs du Mal if you want to keep the flower reference.
