one night, and we rented it."

Any idea (I don't think "Killer bud" is a film title, here)
Thanks in advance

Explanation:
Hi!
I found out that there actually is a movie called "Killer bud"
For more information about the plot (which involves smoking marijuana)see : www.agletproductions.com/generic.html;$sessionid$4VEEZJIAAALALWGIHUUUTIWYZA4S1PX0?pid=8 - 10k

the name of the film has not been translated into French.

"Killer bud" is another expression for bad weed

hope it can help!

killer bud

Explanation:
I agree, in spite of the film of the same name. I think that the film is probably named after the type of cannabis.

I don’t even smoke (tried when I was 7 nearly swallowed the cigarette and never tried again!) but the phrase “scored some killer bud” strikes me as some sort of drug use. I did a web search and did in fact come up with a (comedy) film title…

KILLER BUD
COMEDY -- 93 MinutesThis broad comedy follows two idiot losers, Waylon (Corin Nemec) and Buzz (David Faustino), on their journey to find some dope for two weird girls (Danielle Harris and Caroline Keenan) whom they hope to score with. Ends up they are tricked into breaking into Sam's 99-cent-and-under food store, and in turn, cannot break out. This picture holds fantastic performances by leads Nemec and Faustino, and a wonderful turn by Robert Stack (AIRPLANE!) as a militant ex-patriate with Batman-esque gadgets galore, and armaments to blow up passenger vans. This is not an official Aglet film, as it was produced by the now-defunct, LA-based Prosperity Pictures, cast: Corin Nemec, David Faustino, Caroline Keenan, Danielle Harris, Robert Stack, Maurice Chasse, Frank Clem, Hyrum Patterson, Tara Ruiz Crespo, Dana Millican, Chris Watson, Jacob Sidney, Ali MacLean
Never the less, other hits indicated it is some sort of drug :

This is a site where you will be able to see a picture of it. “cam” being another work for dope, shit etc… Must be strong stuff as literally the name translates as “shit bourgeon tueur”.

Explanation:
Basically, playing with words as the killer bud can be "scored" or "rented" depending on whether you are referring to the film or the dope, both of whicha re the case here
