écran thermique


Explanation:
S'il s'agit d'une pièce rapportée fixée entre le soubassement du véhicule et la ligne d'échappement le terme d'écran thermique est le plus approprié.
Si l'isolant est incorporé dans le convertisseur catalytique ou dans un silencieux la réponse donnée précédemment est la bonne.
Le terme "protecteur thermique" est aussi utilisé mais l'écran est employé dans les textes réglementaires mentionnés ci-dessous.
