compte de résultat comparatif

Explanation:
P/L as you probably already know is the profit and loss account, or compte de résultat in French. It is difficult to guess what they mean by earn-out P&L. In the absence of a more precise context, I guess they are trying to assess if solution A would be more profitable than solution B, or vice versa. I would therefore translate it as compte de résultat comparatif, for instance. I would translate the earn-out amount as "potentiel de gain" as it appears to be the added profit one might derive from using solution A or B. Does this make sense ?

earn-out amount

Explanation:
You can not determine how to translate the earn-out in this context without asking your source for a definition of EBIT. The second sentence appears to be wrong. It states 'earn-out' = EBIT minus 67,000,000FF times 'something'?
What ones multiplies by (this 'something') is not stated. Without clarification on this point, you can not know what the earn-out is!

My best guess is that earn-out means either profit (i.e. earn) or loss (i.e. out). P/L follows the same logic because it stands for a group of profit and loss accounts, which when totalled and offset against each other will yeild an overall profit (earn) or loss (out). In other word, how much the company is 'out' for that period.

Explanation:
To answer the comment just posted above, EBIT is earnings before interest and tax, it is commonly found in every P&L.
