In my response to Cecile, the last part didn\'t come out; so should read bagarre <<thé>>. Crêpage de chignon might be a bit too \"physical\" for some.

I think that the author is confused about the meaning of bun-fight which, as others have said is slang for a formal dinner (alluding to habit of rowdy diners throwing bread rolls at each other when drunk). I'm sure it is never actually used to refer to a dispute and to do so misunderstands the allusion which is to friends having fun while behaving badly; there is no dispute they are just having fun
