|English term or phrase: Share of till|
|Card industry: |
Among the greatest challenges being faced by *** this year are maintaining *** relevance and share of till, competitive pricing, resisting pressure to reduce rates as our Revolve Card business grows and the sheer physical size of a region that covers 10 markets.
Philippe proposed 'part de caisse'
Till = "caisse" ie the drawer that money is kept in at point of sale and by extension, the cash receipts of a business. "Share of till" would be the portion of the cash "take " that goes to Revolve Cards. The other portions would go to the shop , credit card company etc.I can't find the exact equivalent in French but a native could work it our from my attempt above.
Does anyone know the exact equivalent in French?
