English term or phrase: 50% outfit
Ahlston at one point integrated a small Canadian firm that in fact had developed the technology of what we now see in the Metro and on some of the buses. That is the technology that tells you in how long the next metro is coming. This was at the time Ahlston was going to acquire this company. It was a *50% outfit* that had grown up in a Montreal garage type of story. The four guys who had created it were still at the head of it and they asked for a cultural diagnostic.
