English to French translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Construction / Civil Engineering / Waste management
English term or phrase:share shed
Never seen this term before, I am not sure what they mean here. We are talking about the construction of a landfill.
Here is the context:
This project will include the construction of a new and much larger cell where waste can be placed, compacted and covered over. An improved recycling method will include a share shed where gently used and still usable items can be placed under cover for people to take away and recycle...
entrepôt de partage (d'articles usagés en bon état)
Explanation: Description of a ''share shed'':
Remember the share shed as you go about any spring clean up/clear out. If an item is still in usable condition, but you no longer need it, the share shed is a much better place for it to go than the landfill.
Clothes continue to be a problem in there. We aren’t really set up to handle them, but we do get lots of them. We try to keep some large empty boxes to put clothes in as you sort thru the boxes. Please try not to leave any lying on the floor – after they’ve been walked on awhile, they’re pretty much wrecked. We’ve had to throw out quite a bit of clothes this winter.
Non-working electronics being disposed of as e-waste should be put in the far right –hand side (when facing the building) of the share shed. There is nothing organized for e-waste collection in Yukon at this time, but we’ll stockpile as best we can untill there is.
