English to French translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Cosmetics, Beauty
English term or phrase:'Our Beat '
I am doing a translation for 'Africa Organics' which is a company selling haircare, body care and skincare products (organic and wild-harvested products).
It is a website advertising their products.
Under the heading 'Our beat' there are the following subtitles: Ethics, African potency, and Ingredients.
I assume they perhaps mean 'Our trademark' (not a literal trademark) but the characteristics that distinguish them from other companies.
Has anyone got some good ideas of how to translate this rather trendy expression?
This is one of those cases where I would if at all possible ask the client for feedback on exactly what they wanted to convey, since this is not standard usage and, while several of the answers proposed are distinct possibilities, without further explanation one can only guess which of them may be "right".
