He holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University, was a Fulbright Scholar at the Universität zu Köln in Germany, and earned his Ph.D and AM in Economics at Harvard University.

Merci, mais je dirais plutôt "Master et doctorat" - En France, Master of Arts correspond depuis la réforme de 2003 à un "Master" (Bac + 5), ex DEA/DESS.

Je n'ai trouvé nulle part la signification de "AM" et je ne fais que supposer qu'il s'agit en fait de "AM". L'étudiant ferait d'abord valoir son doctorat avant de mentionner sa maîtrise, ce qui semble logique. Par ailleurs, je préférerais "maîtrise" à "master" ou "mastère" car l'étudiant a eu son diplôme à l'époque où l'on en était encore au système des "maîtrises" en France.

Not all departments offer an AM degree. Many departments that offer the degree do not admit applicants for the AM only; it is available only as a continuing master's on the way to the PhD. In other subjects the AM is awarded as a terminal degree.

Il conviendrait, à mon humble avis, donc de traduire "maîtrise et doctorat en sciences économiques" et non l'inverse.
