La phrase complète est : "This feature makes the connection to a base unit without amplifier control a reality."

Il s'agit d'une option disponible sur un ampli pour voiture. Je ne comprends pas ce que désigne le terme "base unit", je n'arrive pas non plus à voir la logique qui se cache derrière cette phrase...De quel genre de connexion peut-il bien s'agir ?
