lecture Explanation: In most 'professional' media systems 'play-out' refers to the playing (lecture) of pre-recorded tapes, DVDs, etc. to the network as part of the programme schedule. Of course this explanation may not be relevant in the case of your 'professional tv for hospitals', since AFAIK there's no such thing as 'professional TV' in the hospital environment. But then, I'm biased, after 30+ years in (professional) broadcasting... |
