Il s'agit de la description d'un phénomène électrostatique qui affecte les arbres d'un turbine. Je comprend qu'il s'agit d'une relation entre la mise à terre d'un courant et l'arbre mais je ne parviens pas à exprimer l'idée (peut-être tension CC arbre-terre). Quelqu'un pourrait-it m'éclairer là-dessus? Merci d'avance!

The impact between turbine blades and charged materials, for example water droplets present in the steam (for steam turbine low-pressure stages) or dust from the air intake (for gas turbines) can cause *shaft-to-ground DC voltages*. If there is no effective device for grounding the shaft, these voltages may reach high values and than discharge to the ground through preferential paths (oil film of the bearings, the coaxial pump etc.).
