Tech/Engineering - Electronics / Elect Eng / chip rate
English term or phrase: chip rate
A sequence of 1023 pseudo-random, binary, bi-phase modulations on the GPS carrier at a chip rate of 1.023 MHz.
Il s'agit de la définition de code C/A.
Le terme chip rate pose problème. Que signifie-t-il en français ?

neutral  Tony M: I can't access either of those links, but I think the Wiki article I've referenced below explains that it's not quite as this in this particular context.

chip rate: 1. The rate of encoding. [NTIA] 2. In direct-sequence-modulation spread-spectrum systems, the rate at which the information signal bits are transmitted as a pseudorandom sequence of chips. Note: The chip rate is usually several times the information bit rate.
