English term or phrase: on Key switch False
If the filtered voltage is ever outside of these ranges this will be considered an out of range fault and a 640.11 fault will set without a shutdown occurring; the out of range fault is inhibited below 400 rpm engine speed, on Key switch False (to prevent a fault setting on shutdown), and when the engine is in start mode (to prevent a fault from setting while cranking).

on key switch false
avec la touche "Erreur/Faute"

Explanation:
Manifestement, l'action vient de l'opérateur (switch). On l'invite à appuyer sur une touche pour ne pas mémoriser le dysfonctionnement.

"Erreur/Faute" dépend de l'acronyme inscrit sur la touche !!! ou a coté.

disagree  Tony M: This is all about ENGINES and starting/stopping them; there is no actual 'key' involved in the sense of a 'touche'. The whole of 'key switch' is one noun here, no verb in this expression.

on key switch false
contact : arrêt

Explanation:
You might preface the whole list by soemthing like dans les cas suivants :' etc., which then justifies the abbreviation of the remaining list items.

key-switch = normally ignition switch (= operated by a key!) = contact
false = not on = off / stop = arrêt

Of course, if you have a lot of these true / false conditions elsewhere, you may need to follow the vrai / faux logic, rather than use the functional start / stop etc. (this is the same as logic high / low, 1 / 0, etc.)

The whole gist of this text is outlining under what circumstances the 'o-o-r fault' is inhibited: at low revs, during stopping (shutdown), and during starting.

Just to repeat what I said above, in case it wasn't clear:

Personally, I think this use of 'false' (and no doubt elsewhere 'true', as in Asker's later question) sits rather awkwardly in FR, which does not so lend itself so readily to 'telescoping' of the manguage in this way, which is why I have suggested a different approach. However, as I was also at pains to point out, if there are many instances of true / false used like this in your document, you may have no choice but to comply — but this may entail a lot of potentially clumsy re-wording in FR.

So 'contact : faux' if you insist; but use it at your peril!

-> Ben SI ! With this sort of telegraphic language, it can't be translated simplistically in a literal, word-by-word fashion; as I have indicated, keyswitch false = ignition off, it needs to be trans. accordingly. I've addressed use of 'false' if necessary.
