Comment dirait-on cela en français ?
Le contexte : une jeune femme voulait louer une salle dans un grand hôtel pour son mariage mais lorsqu'elle sétait renseignée,on lui avait dit qu'il y avait une liste d'attente de deux ans. Or elle en avait parlé devant une amie de son fiancé, qui travaille dans l'événementiel et qui en faisant jouer ses contacts, a finalement réussi à lui dégoter la salle. Quand la seconde jeune femme lui dit, lafuture mariée, qui est un personnage attachant mais un peu godiche, ne comprend pas pourquoi on lui a dit que ça n'était pas possible de louer la salle.
Voici l'extrait :
- Why would they say that to me ? (Mais pourquoi ils m'ont dit ça ?(que c'était pas possible de louer la salle avant deux ans.)

C'est ce "It creates an air of exclusivity" qui me chiffonne. J'ai l'impression que traduire par "Ca donne une impression d'exclusivité" est trop calqué sur l'anglais et qu'il doit y avoir une manière plus naturelle de dire cela en français. D'avance merci pour vos dées !
