English term or phrase: And the strings have crescendo and diminuendo, the run bar.
This is a line in an explanation given by a conductor in a documentary that I am translating.
The person is explaining something to the audience.

And then you have
pianissimo, the strings.

And the strings have crescendo
and diminuendo, the run bar.

The pianissimo is the
beginning of the crescendo.

I can't find a way to get the right sentence in FR and also : run bar?
Any idea?
Thanks in advance

French translation:la (mesure avec) roulade
Explanation:
a bar = une mesure
run = une roulade, une tirata, une tirade
http://dictionnaire.metronimo.com/index.php?a=term&d=1&t=764...

http://dictionnaire.metronimo.com/index.php?a=term&d=1&q=Tir...

Donc non seulement il y a crescendo et diminuendo, mais aussi, il y a roulade (définition dictionnaire cnrtl: Formule d'ornementation consistant en une suite de notes de passage diatoniques rapides, montante ou descendante, destinée à relier deux notes disjointes de la mélodie (d'apr. Mus. 1976))

Vu, comme vous dites, la personne parle en phrase incomplètes, et vu que "mesure avec roulade" me semble lourd, je pense qu'on pourrait juste dire "la roulade".
