Bonjour,

Dans le passage suivant, je comprends l'idée de "business case" mais je n'arrive pas à trouver de tournure satisfaisante :
"Let us take a look at why Performance Management is such an important focus for our business

As part of our separation from xxx, we were left with a clear need to develop our own Performance Management Process. And as our executive team looked at the impact of performance management on the business, they clearly aligned on the importance of Performance Management in driving our business forward.

As you can see from this slide, there is a strong business case for focusing on this. The impact on companies who have great performance, have a priority focus on their performance management process and people development. They recognize the link between performance management and financial performance."

Or ici, il me semble que "case for" a un sens approché de "plaidoyer, plaidoirie" pour soutenir une cause - ici, la cause du Performance Management". "Strong" pourrait alors être traduit par "éloquent" ou "convaincant".

En management, un business case est une proposition structurée, qui marque un changement dans la conduite des affaires. Ce changement se trouve justifié en termes de coûts et bénéfices. C'est un pré-requis nécessaire pour toute initiation de projets à grande envergure, et nombreuses sont les méthodes de gestion de projets qui s'en réclament explicitement.

Le Business Case met en avant l'objectif du projet. Pour ce faire, il énumère les raisons pour lesquelles le projet a été initié, les bénéfices attendus, les options à considérer (avec les facteurs de rejet ou d'approbation expliquant la prise en compte ou pas de chaque option), les coûts prévisibles, l'analyse des carences et les risques supputés.
