Ici "trust" peut se rendre par "de confiance" dans le sens français de "tiers de confiance" (trusted third party) utilisé dans les textes réglementaires et législatifs. La notion de "chemin de confiance" évoquée dans la première référence semble particulièrement convenir au contexte.
