C'est la traduction souvent donnée dans le sens FR > EN, il vaudrait le coup de faire une recherche dans le gloss ('vu' ne marche pas, car - de 3 lettres, il conviendrait donc de rechercher 'whereas' et FR > EN + sens inverse

Explanation:
Naguère la Cour de Cassation et certaines Cours d'appel, au lieu d'utiliser "Attendu que. . " faisaient débuter leurs motifs par "Considérant que... ". Cette formulation particulière a été abandonnée par la Cour de Cassation. La Cour d'Appel de Paris et la Cour d'Appel de Versailles sont actuellement les seules juridictions civiles à utiliser le "Considérant" à la place de l'"Attendu. . ".
