English to French translations [PRO] Law/Patents - Law (general) / acte de dernière volonté
English term or phrase:Marital Trust/Bypass Trust
j'ai trouvé sur un post proz que Bypass Trust= Fiducie exclusive en faveur du conjoint...mais alors comment traduire "Marital Trust" ?
je ne trouve pas d'équivalent sur le net de fiducie maritale ou matrimoniale
Bypass T:An irrevocable trust that is designed to pay trust income (and principal, if needed) to an individual's spouse for the duration of the spouse's lifetime. The bypass trust is not part of the beneficiary spouse's estate and is not subject to federal estate taxes upon his/her death.
Marital T:A marital trust is used to benefit the surviving spouse of the person who dies. There are many reasons for creating such a trust-- to provide asset protection for the surviving spouse, or to ensure that your children are the ultimate beneficiaries of your estate
