J'ai mis "territoire où a été constituée la société" finalement, pour éviter les problèmes de traduction de jusrisdiction. Merci!

juridiction en constitution (en personne morale) / (en société)

Explanation:
On EuroDicAutom, "incorporation" is given in French which I don't like as "incorporation" in English refers really to the moment when a company is actually formed, cf. 'certificate of incorporation'.

When I checked out the GDT for "certificate of incorporation" to get what I hoped would be a better result, it came up with "consitution en personne morale". The meaning matches up.

Whilst I would expect the EuroDicAutom to give a European French result, what was given - considering the way I asked the question - was inadequate. What the GDT gave however, as explained above, matches the commonly used terms in France.

Bonne soirée,

Nikki

"la juridiction où il (elle) est constitué(e)"

Explanation:
This is a translation for Canadian French.

Here is an example from the government of Canada and its official translation:

"7. Every manufacturer or importer shall provide to CPCC the following information with each payment:

(a) its name, that is,

(i) the name of a corporation and a mention of its jurisdiction of incorporation,"

". Le fabricant ou l'importateur fournit à la SCPCP avec son versement les renseignements suivants :

a) son nom, soit,

(i) sa raison sociale et la juridiction où il est constitué, dans le cas d'une société par actions,"
