Dockers, made by Levi’s, are the only chinos my husband will wear in the summer (not the women’s ones though !). Odd in fact, as the make is apparently a throw back to the USAF pants, I believe. Anyway, they were invented in 1985 in Japan ! Given that the name is vaguely nautical and the store is probably trying to reflect this in the deco.

Explanation:
Robert & Collins propose "tissu à mailles" mais je pense qu'un tulle blanc serait plus dans le contexte.
Si les mailles sont très larges on pourrait éventuellement penser à un filet, mais c'est sans doute difficile à déterminer
Le tulle en français est assez vague maintenant et s'est éloigné de sa signification première de voile en dentelle fabriqué dans la ville de Tulle, donc je pense qu'il convient bien ici. Vous trouverez d'innombrables références de tulle blanc, plafond, etc sur google.com
